Dog bites are dangerous and terrifying very often resulting in pain and suffering. Illinois has very strict laws protecting the victim in such an eventuality. The dog bite laws in Illinois are stated in the Animal Control Act of USA which states that the owner or custodian of a dog or any other animal is liable to pay civil damages to the person to whom the injury is caused in full amount of the injury caused.
